“The ability to read, write, and analyse; the confidence to stand up and demand justice and equality; the qualifications and connections to get your foot in that door and take your seat at that table — all of that starts with education.” – Michelle Obama

Known as one of the signature programs at Branksome Hall Asia, the Grade 9 Exchange Program is an authentic leadership and collaborative learning experience, designed to teach students about others’ cultural traditions. Every year in autumn, Grade 9 students travel to the school’s Canadian sister institution for a living and learning experience they’ll simply never forget. Here, students of Branksome Hall Asia get the chance to participate in all aspects of Canadian school life. They work side by side with their Canadian sisters in collaboration with the University of Toronto Rotman School of Management, using an integrative thinking model to solve real-world problems, and experience a week long team-building outdoor camping. In the spring, the students from Branksome Hall in Toronto travel to Korea to engage in an interdisciplinary science and technology program. Throughout the year, students collaborate with each other on various activities and units of study.
