Apart from the US, UK and Canada, Australia is among the most popular destinations for international students.

That means international student scholarships in Australia are abundant if you know where to look.

Thanks to its excellent learning and teaching resources, Australia brings in thousands of international students every year. In 2022 alone, the country has seen over 613,327 international students.

What’s more, an Australian PhD takes, on average, three and a half years to complete — with research supervisors who strive to ensure students complete their PhDs on time and successfully.

However, earning a PhD from an Australian uni does not come cheap. Melbourne has “one of the world’s wildest and most expensive real estate markets.” Sydney was recently ranked the most expensive city in Australia and the 15th most expensive globally.
