In the midst of an MBA and want to apply your new skills in a real work environment? It’s not too late to apply for an MBA summer internship.
A pandemic is raging, travel is restricted and many companies are now remote working — but this does not mean you can’t burnish your CV with work experience.
With virtual internships are now on the rise, MBA students can still gain the necessary experience over the summer. Here are some websites where you can apply for exciting internships in growing companies.
Linklaters is expanding their virtual internship experience programme from the UK to Hong Kong.
Denise Fung, the graduate recruitment partner of the programme, told Human Resources Online, “Following the success of our UK virtual internship experience programme launched last June, we have been working over the last 10 months to expand the programme to Hong Kong.
“We involved partners, associates, trainees and business team members across the Hong Kong office in developing the content, and are very pleased to be able to launch in Hong Kong now. Summer break is coming for many students, which is a great time for them to think about potential careers, and we hope the InsideSherpa programme will inspire them.”
The internship will entail a seven-module programme. Interns will complete tasks such as pitching to a client based in mainland China requiring legal advice ahead of a fintech acquisition, conducting legal research and leaving a voicemail for the client regarding the transaction.
