Studying abroad is expensive. If only there were more generous scholarships for students … 

Enter Edumpus, an Amazon-like platform for aspiring international students. Through its recently launched INR Crore Scholarship Programme, it aims to provide generous scholarships to students —  it is one of India’s largest study abroad scholarships to date.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has not been easy on the student community. Studying abroad comes with a host of living costs and financial burden on deserving students,” comments Raj on the initiative.

Edumpus aims to sponsor 11,500 Indian students to study abroad in 2021. This scholarship will cover tuition fees or tuition fees or both — something that will be decided on a case-to-case basis.

Winners will be announced on Edumpus on a monthly basis. The prize money will be disbursed following a recipient’s successful enrolment at their preferred uni. Here’s what else you need to know to be in the running for this generous scholarship:

How to apply for these generous scholarships for students

You’ll have to convince the board that you deserve the scholarship, based on your academic merit, financial background and other personal circumstances. You’ll then receive a score.

Scholarship prize

Approximately US$136,000 will be distributed to students according to their needs. Funds range from US$650 to US$6,500.
