For Irish student Mark Lynch, such teaching excellence prepares him for a promising career in pharmaceutical research relevant to the academic and manufacturing sectors. “From the outset, the lectures and lecturers provide unique insights into various aspects of the pharmaceutical science field, which can serve as pivotal foundations in diverse areas such as pharmacognosy, biotechnology, and exciting emerging fields such as nanotechnology,” shares Lynch.
“Perhaps the most significant aspect of the course is the ability to engage with practical research projects, as the knowledge and experience gained in collaboration with established international researchers with global outreach can serve as a fantastic entry point to academic and industrial research employment.”

Venkatesan can attest to this. “The research project gives the opportunity to join the Erasmus [programme], which helps students with international exposure,” she says.
For South Korean student Yun Yeob Kim, he got the chance to conduct his research project abroad. “I’m currently doing my master’s project in France, where I’ve also met students from diverse backgrounds and am enjoying doing my research abroad,” says Yun.
