The Master of Science in Marketing programme at Drexel LeBow has two STEM-designated concentrations. The Marketing Technology and Analytics concentration – also STEM-designated – teaches students how to use cutting-edge tools to turn big data into actionable insights. As students work on large business datasets, understand experimental design and analysis, and present data findings and recommendations, they hone crucial soft skills, such as effective communication, just as much as technical prowess.

Alamro has benefited from being part of the programme and the university’s city campus in the heart of Philadelphia. “The programme at Drexel LeBow is allowing me to gain a holistic understanding of consumer psychology and market trends and research, which prepared me to design marketing strategies that engage diverse audiences effectively and engagingly,” he says.

“My coursework has provided me with an understanding of market analysis, consumer behaviour, and the strategic planning of marketing campaigns. Further, my participation in group projects, as well as my involvement in case studies, have strengthened my teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills, which are essential for a successful career,” he says. “Aside from this, I have been able to apply my theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios through internships and involvement in marketing organisations, which have further enhanced my ability to be ready for the challenges of the marketing industry.”
